Ventnor Exchange creates live events and runs arts venues that are open to everyone.

We believe that great creative experiences bring people together.

We’re on a mission to raise the creative potential of the Isle of Wight and provide more opportunities for everyone to enjoy culture. We do this by hosting live events, delivering workshops and running arts venues which host a huge programme of activities and events all year round.

Ventnor Arts Club

Ventnor Arts Club is situated in the centre of town. Come along to relax, have a drink, enjoy a film, live broadcasts from the Royal Opera House, NT, RSC, Royal Ballet and more. We host live music and a range of regular events with local community groups. The club is available for private hire and is a great location for receptions, business meetings and presentations. Our beautiful 1920′s bank has been restored and refurbished to reveal its previously hidden beauty but is also bristling with technology like fast WiFi, HD cinema projection and surround sound. We have also full air conditioning and exchange systems for your comfort and safety. We are pleased to invite applications for annual membership. Please see the membership page on our website for further details. Visitors’ Memberships are also available and all are welcome to our ticketed events, no membership required.

We follow the life drawing format of short dynamic poses that progress in length to encourage a loose approach. We break after the first hour for 15 minutes, culminating in a final, more extended 45-ish minute pose.

We usually have 4-8 people attend in our mixed experience and standard group, i.e. nobody is precious, and we all encourage each other.

There is a cost of £12 per session to cover the venue hire and the model fee. We have four models who we rotate each month.
